I recently enjoyed a delightful family vacation at Ingleton, ideally situated at the foot of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, close to the charming village of Ingleton. This establishment provides a unique ambiance, reminiscent of a cozy ski chalet crossed with a hostel, making it an intriguing choice for families. Our accommodation featured a six-bed dorm, which was just right for our group of five. While the beds were a bit snug, they were surprisingly comfortable, and the room was impeccably clean. The outdoor spaces, including a lovely lido, offered a refreshing retreat after our daily adventures. We took full advantage of the nearby Ingleton Waterfalls Trail-a picturesque 4.5-mile journey showcasing distinctive geological features and lush plant life. Exploring the various walking routes and striking caves provided our family with engaging activities that sparked our appreciation for nature. Although a large group of guests occupied some common areas, the friendly staff ensured a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all. Ingleton is excellent value for money and a great base for families seeking adventure in the Yorkshire Dales.
